This floral wire set includes 6-inch wires in gauges 16, 26, 22, and 20, designed to create sturdy stems for gum paste flowers and leaves. The set contains 16 wires of each gauge, allowing you to select the appropriate strength and flexibility for various flower components. Lower gauge numbers indicate stronger wires, while higher numbers offer more flexibility for delicate petals and leaves.

The white wires remain invisible in gum paste, enhancing the natural look of crafted flowers. Different gauges serve specific purposes: 26-gauge for peony petals and smaller leaves, 22-gauge for lighter flowers like hydrangeas, and 20-gauge for centers of larger flowers such as roses and hibiscus. This set is ideal for detailed floral cake decorations.
